They do take out??
Ok. Super cute decor, ordinary food. Fast service. Friendly staff.
Had dinner at this restaurant last night was very disappointed with the service and food I was with my GF and her son food took like 45 minutes to get and her son's tacos where not right and had bitter onions and no Pico gayo on it. Very disappointed in the food and service this time.
MoreThe waitress was a sweetheart, but the food was awful!!! Watery and gross! All 3 plates were nasty. We didn't even eat it. When we complained, the "management " on duty said the food was ok and still charged us full price. Bad food and bad business. This used to be my favorite restaurant. I will never be back. As someone who runs a restaurant, this is not the way you should do business!!
MoreSuch a wonderful little place to eat. Big portions for their lunch specials and the waitress was so helpful and friendly! πππ
MoreVisited this place once I seen the sign for it. Was pretty disappointed in the food. When we ate at the one in salina it was amazing. This one was just different and didnt taste good. They served us the roasted Mexican corn in a to go cup, food tasted microwaved warmed up food instead of freshly cooked, and the flour chips were tortillas cut up and barely deep fried. Staff was friendly which makes up some for the bad food. Would give it another shot maybe in the future.
MoreAkwats enjoys stopping here when we are in Abilene! Food is always Great!
Good food and service!
My first time here! I ordered a soft shell chicken taco and substituted the grilled chicken for the shredded chicken. It was a dollar more to substitute so my taco was 4.00. I think that's pricey for a taco but it was delicious. I also ordered about 4 strawberry margaritas! They were delicious and I think 5.50 each. It was worth it and I'm sure we will return.
MoreHands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been too. The Fiesta Nachos are a meal in themselves, but they're just an appetizer! I ordered the best steak fajitas of my life, and my buddy got an amazing fajita chimi changa. Huge plates for each and we still took a big Styrofoam to go box when we left, all for less than $40.00!
MoreFantastic little Mexican restaurant! Their basement room is a fantastic space for a quiet evening conversation.
MoreTold us it would be a 15 minute wait and we waited outside for 20 minutes only to see them give a table to a party of 6 without calling us in
MoreRipped me off on the kids meals and overcharged me on the rest of the meal. Took 45 minutes to even get waited on. Wont be back to this establishment.
MoreVisited from out of town, and I had a really awful experience. Have tried their other location and liked it, but was disappointed in the Abilene restaurant. The interior is nice. The food was decent, but in my opinion, not worth the price. But what really put me off was the abysmal service. They only had a few customers in, and there were a couple servers working, but despite this I felt entirely ignored by the staff. Enough so, that it ruined my entire experience.Maybe Iβd just stopped in on an off day, but I will definitely not be visiting the next time I have errands in Abilene.
MoreThe jalepeΓ±o margarita had just the right amountof heat. The steak quesadilla was generously filled.
MoreNot a terribly welcoming staff, but sufficient. Main floor is small, very crowded and loud during busy hours. Overall too small which results in long waits for a table unless you have a small group of 4 or less. Not much of a waiting area unless you wait outside. Basement is a little cozier and quieter, but the stairs can present a challenge for some diners. Salsa taste more like tomato sauce than salsa. Meals are good, and good sized portions, but a little expensive for a family night out on a tight budget.
MoreMargaritas too sweet. Hot sauce NOT!! Food....just medicoir. Didn't like being seated in basement even though I was there before another party that for seated ahead of me upstairs. NO COFFEE . Would Never go back...
MoreWay too many tables in a small space. Uncomfortably crowded but food is awesome.
My husband, I and 2 granddaughters ate here to night. And to be honest, it was one of the worst meals we have ever had. I had the combo fajitas and they had absolutely no flavor to them, the flour tortillas were gummy. My husband's nacho fajitas had no flavor or vegetables on it. Then to top it off my granddaughter found the American flag( that was supposed to be on top) inside of her chimichanga and it was attached to a toothpick.Asked her if she was ok to eat it, did not offer to replace it. Waitress said it would be taken off our bill. When we went to pay, it had not been taken off and they argued with us, had to see it, by 2 of them. Was finally removed. Needless to say, we will not be back or recommend this place.
MoreFast service, great atmosphere. Excellent meal. Quesadilla and margs . Wonderful!
MoreFun place and good food. Great people working there.
Food is good the staff isnβt they donβt ansewer you to go call fix this
This was a great place however I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the food or service.
MoreAwesome food with great service and prices!
Good food and service.
Food was good. Service was the worst. Got food to go, got home and was missing items. Called, got the run around, the waitress argued and argued. Then said the manager wasn't there but come back. I get there and no manager no food. I waited like 5 mins for him to show up. He acted as if he didn't believe me, but finally got me the food.Bad business!
MoreWent for a quick bite and had some tacos. Was very good and service was good. Would recommend.
MoreIt wasn't busy, just two other tables and service was (being nice) sub par. Food was more like a siesta than a fiesta, maybe I'm spoiled after spending my last 18 yrs in Texas? Bland like my great-grandmothers oatmeal.Beers were nice and cold, and the decor is spectacular!
MoreGood food! Cold beer. Usually can't go wrong here if you're craving Mexican food.
Morewaited 10 mins to be seated. Apparently they have only 1 person to seat people, run the register, take your order and bring your food. Waited 15 mins to get more chips while the queso cheese deep i had ordered got cold. Waited 10 more mins to get some silverware. After Finally getting the food it was good
MoreNot very reliable makes me upset try to call and nothing for a whole week
We typically dine at the La Fiesta in Junction City but decided to try the Abilene location while we were in town. This was our first experience and is our last. I'm a pretty patient guy but this visit pushed me to my limit. The restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated rather quickly. We ordered drinks that took 20 minutes to arrive and then they finally took our order. Two tacos with rice and chicken with rice. 45 minutes later we finally received our food after 3 tables who came after us received their food. My tacos had 2 little pieces of meat so I had to combine both to make one decent taco. The rice was fine. The chicken and rice plate was mediocre at best. Our server apologized but it was too late at that point. We left after 1.5 hours and will never be back to this location. It's too bad too because La Fiesta typically has great food. My suggestion? Just visit Junction City because they get you in and out while providing delicious food. Trust me on this.
MoreExcellent authentic Mexican food
The wait was really long. And we got over charged. The waiter was not nice and was kinda rude. It was very crowded too.
MoreGood home cooked meal, done with care & served quickly with a smile.
Really quite good if I do say so. We got there fairly late in the evening and the place was full. The meal was great and the margaritas were delicious. It's a small town so they close at 9pm. Worked out just fine for us.
MoreWaitress was very curtious and attentive. Didnt take long at all for our food to xome out and they were piping hot during the whole meal.
MoreWe waited over 20 mins to get our chips and salsa. Then multiple people that walked in after us got their food before us. And the margarita was basically just salt. We have been going to la fiesta over in Abilene for several years and ever since they moved from the highway to across town it has just gone downhill. This was the worse experience weve ever had and the last straw so we will not be returning to the one in Abilene. If I could get this review less than a star I would.. also not even sure anyone over there was older than 35.
MoreTaco was great!! Like margarita, ask for light ice.
Yaco Tues good deal 99 cents a taco
Food is okay but a little pricey. Spent $35 one two meals, taco salad and chicken quesadilla. Only 1 drink
MoreWe had a great lunch experience today. They were busy and only had one waitress but she was great! Her name was Rachel and she did so good for only one person. Great service!
MoreI actually love this place. I've eaten here a few times, and I've never been disappointed . I've never had a problem with the service or the food, there was one time I was seated by some obnoxiously loud women, but that's no fault of the restaurant, (I blame the parents)((just kidding!)) Anyway, the food is really good. It's closer to real Mexican food than the places more well-known, like Carlos O Kelly's, but not as expensive. It is slightly more expensive than some of the local Mexican places in other cities, but it's worth it, it's still very affordable, and hey, it's a small town, gotta support the local businesses.
MoreWell to be honest, we had high expectations from the get go because how can you screw up mexican food? There wasn't a website so we couldn't look up a menu but some of the reviews seemed promising. Service was ok. Not much of a personality from the waitress. Food did come out fast so that's a plus but the special of the night "shrimp tacos" was literally 3 shrimp in 3 flour tortillas with some rice and lettuce. The Santos burrito wasn't anything special with plain ground beef and plain cheese sauce. The happy hour was decent with 1/2 price beers. That was the best part. All in all, set your expectations low and it might be ok.
MoreGreat fried ice cream and warm fresh torilla chips made this place great.
Absolutely delicious, excellent waitress, you made my husband his tamales perfectly to his special request. You went over and beyond and your service was greatly appreciated. God bless and we will be back!!
MoreWe love going here, once a week customers for sure. They know our order by heart, and are always smiling. Love Beautiful Maria!!! Shes definitely always working hard, but with a smile to still give. Love love love their guacamole ! Our food always comes quickly.
MoreThe service was okay. $37 for 1 meal of fajitas and a side of guacamole. food was below average
MoreHorrible Mexican restaurant. I ordered the birria which was on their sampler page. The birria smelled rotten and tasted disgusting the whole plate with beans and rice was unappetizing. Service was slow and the waitress never went to check on us. Finally after getting her attention she took the rotten smelly plate away. Only good thing is they took it off the bill.
MoreExcellent food, friendly staff
Nice setting very cool hand painted tables , booths and chairs from Mexico big menu as well !
